Автобиографическая книженция Кэрри Фишер будет поставлена на Бродвее.
ИМХо - Кэрри слегка страдает эксгибиционизмом, что, впрочем, не мудрено, при всех ее -измов. Но он у нее усугубляется от книги к книге.
Это вот нечто - это грань, если она ее перейдет, это будет уже я не знаю - не литература точно, потому что эта книга уже почти не.
После прочтения я подумала, что Кэрри выдыхается.
Зачем еще это ставить - не понятно.
В этом смысле Марк Хэмилл честнее - он просто за автографы деньги берет. И все. Кэрри же упорно делает вид, что претендует на что-то большее.

She is a bitch in all the meaning of the dirty word :) (not sexual meaning though). I met her and... she is a bitch :)
She is smart as hell.
But I didn`t like this book for exhibitionism and the more she writes the more exhibitionism she has. And this book is on the verge, when you go over that edge - you are in the realm of porno really (not sexual though).
It looks like she is running out of ideas. I really don`t understand why the hell they would stage that! It`s not literature! It`s not really journalism either. I don`t know what genre it is - memoires?
Anyway - it`s the same that was written in other books, but this time told by Carrie herself. But there is nothing new in this book at all - Postcards from the Edge and The Best Awful were enough, really!

Ive never read her books. I didn't evne know she wrote a few. Thise kind of books are not translated here.
You know maybe they are just staged it because the book got a few success and sometimes, even if there's no stories, it's enough for producers.

Well, "Postcard from the Edge" is a oscar nominated movie! You should have seen it! If you didn`t just rent and watch. It`s a very good film with great actors. And it`s autobigraphical. All Carrie`s books are. She always writes about her own experience. And she is a VERY good writer - smart and funny and sarcastic - about her own self first of all.
I haven`t read "Postcard from the Edge", but I`ve seen the movie. I`ve read "Surrender the Pink" and "The Best Awful".
I wasn`t very happy about "Wishful Drinking" because there was very little text for this money and secondly - because it was the retelling of those two books I read, but this time she named all the people with their real names. So there was very little new information for me. I`ve read that she kept a diary while making Star Wars and I hoped that there would be more of SW in this book, but nope. Just all the same old stories that I already knew from her other writings.

Well Poscard from the Edge is an old movie. :)
And, hey, you have Amazon.com to order all stuff you need, what`s the problem? It`s the Russians who have problesm with ordering from abroad, what`s your problem here? I don`t see any :)
I`m having problems because my credit card right now is not suitable for this... but a bit of efforts with getting the right one - and I`ll be probably ordering from Amazon myself.
But you can get everything you want. Even from Amazon.de - which is closer.
Carrie is a witty and funny writer - worth reading, really!

In fact we can't. We have amazon.fr which means that even if we want stuff on other amazon that are not on amazon.fr they always redirect us to amazon.fr (I have no idea if this means something LOL)

Oh yeah I had troubles with my old credit card too so I changed it. It's easier for ebay :p How great would it be t have only one money for everyone xd.

I understand the thing about amazon.fr how great we don`t have our amazon.ru :) so we get the stuff directly from there.

Нет, они нормальные все. Сумасшествие Кэрри не связана с ЗВ вовсе. У нее врожденная проблема :) Так что, не надо это связывать с ЗВ, ок?

ну, я вроде, человек нормальный, и с ЗВ у меня ниче не связывается )) кто из этого фильма стал звездой, про того я, при всей непереносимости моей, ничего экстраординарного не знаю.
а фишер и этого, опять забыла фамилию, только фанаты конкретно и знают, мне кажется.

С Кэрри? Ну... она с рождения перед камерами - у нее первая фотосессия была в три часа от роду. Из-за того, что родители знамениты были в ту пору очень. Типа Питта с Джоли. Ступить без камер никуда было невозможно.. и все такое.
А потом ее родители развелись, и ее отец женился на Элизабет Тейлор. Представляешь, какой там клоповник?
Соответственно, наркота/алкоголь - все пороки, которые этому обществу сопутствуют, она вкусила рано. Плюс психушки - как следствие наркоты/алкоголизма. Типа депрессия у нее и синдром.. как его - когда настроение ширяет из стороны в сторону? Не помню. Попытки самоубийства - весь набор звездной прелести, короче.
Потом всякие еще события, например, просыпаешься - а твой друг, что с тобой в постели - мертвый... причем, этот друг - гей, он спал тут просто потому, что больше в квартире места не было, где спать - все места другими гостями заняты. То есть - пришел к тебе друг на вечеринку переночевать остался - и умер у тебя в кровати. Это ИМХО не прибавляет нормальности. Там много было всякого... и без ЗВ на самом деле. Должна признать - Кэрри самая ебнутая (сорри) из всех них. Если б она не была так умна и не умела прикалываться над самой собой - давно бы уже в могиле была.
Потому что при всем этом она - сильная личность, и смогла из всего этого выбраться.
