It’s a text from Eddie Redmayne, friend and fellow rising star. It ends: “I will always be your Cumberbitch. Eddie.” We laugh.
Thank You - thank You - Thank You, Hope 1972 - now I can go back to work with an eased mind and a happy smile on my face. This gentleman is amazing - I've been a fan since the 2008 Burberry catalogue and watched his every movie - he is truely amazing and stays true to his talent! Longing for more!!
You are welcome :) Eddie is great! I`ve seen him on stage besides seeing all his movies, He was brilliant. You can read about this here: http://hope1972.livejournal.com/2023673.html
I do daily doses, so come back in 4 hours, you`ll get another set of pictures.
Lucky you! Sooo jealous! I had a business trip to London cancelled in early Feb, so I didn't get to see him perform at the Donmar Warehouse. I'm still not over it. Pray he'll stay true to his "roots" and continue doing live theater!
:))) Yeah, we had our trip planned since June. But we weren`t sure we get visas it`s a bit hard over here. But surprise - we all got it. Even me who has a long story with British embassy. And the show still haunts me - it was soo brilliant. Yeah I do hope to see more of him performing live. Sure I`ll try to do another trip as soon as I learn he is on stage again. Ok, I`ll go get another dose prepared now :)
LOVE your detailed description - and wonderful photos! I totally forgot my lunch during lunchbreak breathslessly reading through your encounter with the ever-so-talented Mr. Redmayne! Amazing how calm and collected you were being able to ask all those ?!! Respect! Bet I would have just stood there like a mumbeling fool gazing into his eyes... Somehow he appeared to be just as I anticipated - and you look so wonderful in the picture together.
Thank you :) No, I actually forgot to ask a few questions. So that`s why I came back the second time. But I still forgot to ask my Birdsong question. But then some other fan asked him that later, so I got my answer anyway :) You do get your mind go blank when you meet your fave star.
Except I`m a bit trained on that account as I work as a movie journalist. I meet stars say, monthly. Last one I saw was Daniel Radcliffe about two weeks ago and next week we are having the whole John Carter team including Taylor Kitch and Willem Dafoe. And the next day we are having Danny DeVito. I met Hugh Jackman and Zachary Quinto. Here are a few photos of me with the stars: http://hope1972.livejournal.com/tag/%D1%8F%20%D0%B8%20%D0%B7%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%B4%D0%B0. So that kind of part of my job. But I still got my mind blank while talking to Eddie :))) You never get totally immune :)))
AWESOME!! I'm just your everyday ordinary next-door gal, and have not been close to any celebs but at concerts..Maybe it's time for a carrer-change - LOL. No, seroiusly, what struck me with Mr. R is his intensity and how it comes across even on screen. You feel his presence and dedication so clearly. I just saw "The Good Sheppard" again and I am amazed how easy he seems in the setting with the "big shots" like Damon, Joli, de Niro and Hurt. And being so relatively new at the game. Must be his natural talent. Cool, British elegance mixed with a ever so suiting touch of shyness and modesty ;-) And those eyes...;-)
Sorry, guess I got carried away here - Thanks for putting up with it!
