“Only in LA” is an overused phrase. But what better way to comment on an incident involving two tourists, a cop and a wookie? On February 1st a man dressed as Chewbacca, a furry character in the “Star Wars” movies, allegedly head-butted a tour guide outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Like the other film and cartoon characters that frequent the area, the wookie had been posing for photographs in exchange for tips. Tourists have complained that some characters hassle them for money. In this case the tour guide, Brian Sapir, said Chewbacca became enraged after he tried to pose with two Japanese tourists and was told not to touch them. “Nobody tells this wookie what to do!” the furry entrepreneur allegedly cried out, before landing the offending head-butt.

The altercation was witnessed by Superman, who exercised his extraordinary powers by calling the police. He also contacted the producers of a television show, who swiftly dispatched a camera crew. A spokesman for Lucasfilm, which produced “Star Wars”, told the Los Angeles Times: “We are disappointed that someone dressed as Chewbacca would behave in this way.” Only in LA.

А я всяких персонажей на бульваре там тоже фоткала... только типсы зажала. :)
Больше всего меня убил афроамериканец, одетый ангелом. Он был настолько прекрасен, что затмевал прямо-таки всех. :)
Во, сейчас фотку покажу... она неправильная, я его все пыталась поймать, а он туда-сюда бродил.
У него еще в глазах были белые линзы с маааленькими точками зрачков. Убиться, короче. :))
